Scaffolding Ads in Amsterdam

Unesco advisers who visited Amsterdam in relation to the city’s nomination for its historic city center and canal belt to be placed on the World Heritage Sites list are shocked by the huge ads and video screen they encountered.
Scaffolding advertising has long been controversial, with most people saying they are an eyesore.
In some cases they are a mixed blessing, really, as they sometimes cover up ugly buildings that somehow were allowed to be built.
