Amsterdam gable stone: Jesus and two disciples
This gable stone — depicting Jesus, after his resurrection, joining two confused disciples on the road to Emmaus — is found in a blind wall at the Begijnhof (Beguinage) — one of Amsterdam’s oldest courtyards.
