Amsterdam is a very welcoming town, known for taking tolerance to the extreme.
There are but a few limits to what Amsterdammers will tolerate. ‘Mad dogs and Englishmen…” don’t do well here.
In other words: George Bush, stay away . Same goes for the type of British tourist who thinks we’re impressed by people who drink to much, yell their lungs out, pee against more objects than dogs do, and otherwise behave boorishly.
